Prom is an elaborate event that young adults look forward to attend during their junior year of high school especially girls. For some it may be the opportunity to be invited by their crushes to be their date and to dance the night away with romantic background under the moonlight. You will have a chance to flaunt that beautiful dress you have and your photo during prom will be included in the yearbook as one of the scene stealer. That is why next to wedding, prom night just may be the most photographed event of their life. Since the pictures will last a lifetime, you want to be happy with the dress you choose to wear.

A lot of department stores are selling prom dresses but sometimes with expensive tag especially designer dresses, and with our economy looking bleak, it's quite unreasonable to take a lot of money out from your pocket when there are other important things to consider.

Though, it's acceptable that you want to look good with the prom dress you have chosen to put on but not break your budget doing it. So we have listed some tips here to get a beautiful dress but at the same time affordable.

1. Surf the net to order of rent a prom dress. There are lots of designer dresses online that is inexpensive and in high quality. 3. You can also visit your local department store, if you have time. Designer labeled dresses are often not associated with department stores by most people, but many popular stores all carry designer labels now. If luck is on your side, you may find a low priced designer dresses in their end-of-season bargain section.

4. Another place to check is a bridal store. Yes a bridal store! Maintain yourself, I understand you surely don't want to put on a wedding dress to your prom, but bridal shops have a big selection of designer bridesmaid's dresses that are elegant enough to double as prom dresses.
