Wedding Stories For Beautiful Wedding Dresses

Wedding is absolutely one of the most significant things in anyone's life. Every feature should be well planned and implemented for that special day. Amongst all other things, the wedding dress of a bride is the most important. A beautiful gown made of premium fabric and material is what every bride dreams of.

In the middle ages, bridal dresses were very popular in a few places in Europe. During the Victorian Era, wedding dresses were white, long and made from silk. Before that, wedding gowns were short, with a variety of colours like black and red. At the wedding of Albert of Saxe Coburg and Queen Victoria in 1840, almost everything from the wedding invitations and decorations, to wedding cake, wedding flowers and wedding favours were in white. Following that, more and more women started wearing white wedding gowns in remembrance of the great Queen.

There is also a romantic story behind the entire concept of wedding dress. In the 1500s, Ireland royalty was fond of hunting. One day, they went hunting to a small town and met a girl named Rose. Magnetized by her beauty and charm, Richard Earl fell in love at first sight and Miss Rose also got attracted by this handsome young man. They both fell in love with each other and decide to marry. But the royalty oppwedding dressosed their marriage and made a plan to take Richard away from her.

They asked Rose to make a long dress in one night's time, which seemed impossible to accomplish. However, with the support of all people in the town, Rose could make a 16 meters long wedding dress in one night. The royalty were stirred by her intelligence and performed a fairy tale on the marriage ceremony.

In this loving memory and anticipation of a happy life of Rose and Richard, people started wearing wedding dresses similar to the one designed by Rose in an innocent white colour with a long train.

In the present day, many wedding gowns are still worn in white to signify virginity and purity. However, this was not the real motive with Queen Victoria to choose the white wedding gown. In fact, she opted for a white wedding dress to match it with the beautiful lace that she wanted to add on the dress. Possibly, it could be just a twist of fate, but it has become a tradition since then. Ten of thousands of women still believe in wearing a white gown as their wedding dress.

No matter how the wedding stories extended over time, but the symbolism of elegance and beauty reflected by an ideal gown is never going to change. It is definite that the most beautiful representation of a woman is when she wears a long, white wedding gown.
